Both trail cameras are part of HIKMICRO's higher-performance class, with dual 60° / 100° field of view, photo resolution up to 24 MP, built-in 64 GB storage and an embedded HIKMICRO SIM card. They are controlled from a single HIKMICRO Sight app account.

Each T16 trail camera comes with its own embedded 4G HIKMICRO SIM card and works independently right out of the box — split the bundle and deploy each camera at a different GPS location. The HIKMICRO Sight app then shows the status of both under a single account.

Dual 60° and 100° field of view:

A unique feature of the T16 is the selectable 60° or 100° field of view, switchable at any time directly in the app with no physical adjustment to the device. In a 2-pack, you can configure one camera with the narrower 60° angle for tight forest trails and feeding corridors, and the other with the wider 100° for meadows, feeders and open areas — covering both scenarios in a single purchase.

High resolution and outstanding night imaging:

Both trail cameras capture images at a native resolution of 6 MP for fast transmission and on-demand UHD photos up to 24 MP. Video is recorded in Full HD 1080p with audio, with 720p and WVGA modes also available. At night, the invisible 940 nm IR illumination with two LEDs and SmartIR technology automatically adjusts brightness based on ambient conditions.

4G connectivity and the HIKMICRO Sight app:

Each camera is equipped with its own 4G HIKMICRO SIM card that works out of the box across Europe with no prepaid SIM required. The HIKMICRO Sight app (iOS / Android) provides complete control over both devices from a single account — configuring capture settings, monitoring device status, GPS location of each camera, browsing and sharing photos and videos, and a live Wi-Fi preview within 15 m during installation.

Data plans and sharing across cameras:

Only downloading captured photos and videos through the HIKMICRO Sight app is paid. Three subscription plans are available, all transmitting at 720p:

PIR sensor and smart functions:

A sensitive PIR sensor on both cameras detects wildlife movement and triggers capture in just 0.4 seconds, delivering sharp images even of fast-moving subjects. Detection range is up to 25 m with three selectable sensitivity levels. Additional features — working time schedules, minimum trigger interval, daily cloud upload limit and GPS device location — let you optimise each camera independently based on its specific deployment.

Rugged build and flexible power supply:

With IP66 ingress protection and an operating range of −20 °C to +55 °C, both T16 cameras are ready for year-round outdoor deployment. Each camera is powered by 4× rechargeable 18650 Li-ion cells (3.635 V); batteries are not included. For long-term installations, each camera can be connected to an external DC 12 V / 1 A power supply or to a HIKMICRO SP5000 solar panel. Mount on a tree with the supplied strap or on any standard tripod with a 1/4″-20-UNC thread.
