The Autel EVO Max 4NZ V2 is the absolute pinnacle of the EVO Max series – the first drone on the market to combine all five key sensors in a single gimbal: a starlight camera for night vision, a zoom camera with 10× optical zoom, a 48MP wide-angle camera, a 640 × 512 thermal camera, and a laser rangefinder. The 4NZ designation – Night + Zoom – perfectly captures the philosophy of this model: it combines the best features of the EVO Max 4N V2 (night vision) and the EVO Max 4T V2 (zoom) into a single, maximally versatile solution. You no longer have to choose between night vision and detailed zoom – the EVO Max 4NZ V2 offers both.

The Fusion 4NZ gimbal is a unique multi-sensor unit. Starlight camera with a 1.69" sensor and ISO sensitivity up to 440,000 captures detailed images even in complete darkness without the need for IR illumination -- the drone thus operates completely covertly. Zoom camera with 10x continuous optical zoom and 160x digital zoom allows for detailed inspection from a safe distance. 48MP wide-angle camera with night mode ISO 320,000 provides an overall view of the situation. Thermal camera with a resolution of 640 × 512 and temperature measurement up to +550 °C detects thermal anomalies invisible to the naked eye. Laser rangefinder with a range of 1,200 m ensures precise target acquisition.

The EVO Max 4NZ V2 platform shares the proven MDX-1 airframe of the EVO Max V2 series with revolutionary 720° obstacle avoidance. The combination of binocular fisheye vision and millimeter-wave radar at frequencies of 60 GHz and 24 GHz protects the drone from all directions -- including detection of wires and cables at distances up to 18 meters. During night flights near infrastructure, this is an absolutely crucial safety feature.

The hot-swap battery technology allows for quick battery replacement on the ground without shutting down the drone or ending an ongoing mission -- after a short landing, the operator simply swaps the battery, and the drone continues the mission without needing to re-initialize systems and calibrate sensors. For safety reasons, battery replacement is always performed exclusively on the ground, never in flight. The A-Mesh network communication connects multiple drones and controllers into a coordinated system for simultaneous exploration of large areas. With a flight time of 42 minutes, a range of 25 km, and an altitude ceiling of 4,500 m a.s.l., the EVO Max 4NZ V2 covers even the most demanding scenarios. The EVO Max 4NZ V2 is the most versatile drone in the EVO Max series -- it can do everything the 4N V2 and 4T V2 models can, in a single package. It is ideal for professional teams that require maximum flexibility and do not want to switch between different drones or gimbals depending on the mission type.

For night and covert operations -- searching for individuals, perimeter surveillance, monitoring suspicious activities -- the starlight sensor with ISO 440,000 provides detailed images in complete darkness without IR illumination. The drone operates completely passively and undetectably. The combination of starlight and thermal imaging allows for the detection of people and vehicles at a distance exceeding 5 km. Additionally, the 10x optical zoom allows for their identification from a safe distance -- a capability that the 4N V2 model, without a zoom camera, does not offer.

For thermal inspections of energy infrastructure -- solar power plants, high-voltage lines, substations, and heating networks -- it offers 10x optical zoom and a thermal camera with an accuracy of ±2 °C. You can identify faults from tens of meters away without the need for risky close-ups. The 60 GHz radar that detects wires makes line inspections safer. The added starlight sensor also allows inspections to be performed in low visibility or at night.

In the field of search and rescue (SAR) and firefighting operations, the EVO Max 4NZ V2 combines all available tools: a thermal camera for detecting hotspots and individuals through smoke, a starlight sensor for natural images in the dark, a zoom camera for identification from a safe altitude, and a laser rangefinder for precise targeting.
