Dual field of view 60° and 100°:

A unique feature of the T16 is the optional field of view 60° or 100°, which can be switched at any time directly in the app, without the need for physical adjustment of the device. The narrower 60° angle is suitable for narrow forest paths, feeding corridors, and monitoring specific points; the wider 100° covers meadows, feeders, and open areas without blind spots. One trail camera thus replaces two differently configured devices and adapts to current terrain conditions.

High resolution and quality night shots:

The T16 takes photos with a native resolution of 6 Mpx for fast transfer and UHD photos up to 24 Mpx for download on demand. It records video in Full HD 1080p quality including audio, alternatively in 720p or WVGA resolution. At night, it uses invisible 940 nm IR illumination with two LEDs and SmartIR technology, which automatically adjusts the illumination intensity according to the ambient brightness – the result is sharp black-and-white images without overexposure and without disturbing the wildlife. During the day, the trail camera captures in colour mode, and at night it automatically switches to black-and-white.

4G mobile connectivity and HIKMICRO Sight app:

The HIKMICRO T16 is equipped with 4G mobile connectivity an integrated HIKMICRO SIM card, which works seamlessly in CZ and SK immediately after power-on, and no prepayment is required. The HIKMICRO Sight app (iOS / Android) in Czech and Slovak offers complete trail camera management – setting capture parameters, displaying current status, monitoring data plans, viewing and sharing photos and videos, GPS device localisation, as well as live preview via Wi-Fi within a range of 15 m, which you can use during installation for precise framing.

HIKMICRO Sight Data Plans:

The trail camera has an integrated HIKMICRO SIM card – no pre-payment is required. Only the downloading of captured photos and videos via the HIKMICRO Sight app is charged. There are three subscription plans available, all with transfer in 720p resolution:

When the monthly limit is exhausted, a Credits top-up pack can be purchased in the app (100 photos for €1.49, no expiry date) – photos from the pack are used automatically only after the main plan is depleted. For downloading photos in higher resolution, a separate HD pack is available (50 photos for €3.99). If you manage multiple T16 cameras under the same user account, you can share one plan across all devices and get a 5–20% discount depending on the number of cameras.

PIR sensor and smart functions:

The sensitive PIR sensor captures animal movement and triggers the camera in just 0.4 seconds, ensuring sharp images even of fast-moving objects. The detection range is up to 25 m, and sensitivity can be set to three levels (low / medium / high). Additional features such as working schedules, minimum interval between triggers, or a daily cloud upload limit allow you to optimise operation according to your needs and save data and battery. A time-lapse shot independent of the PIR and GPS localisation of the device in the app are also available, helping to locate the camera in the field and increasing theft protection. Burst shooting (1 / 2 / 3 photos per trigger) captures progressive animal activity, and an OSD stamp with logo, battery status, moon phase, temperature, and date/time can be embedded into the images.

Robust construction and flexible power supply:

Thanks to the IP66 protection rating and an operating temperature of −20 °C to +55 °C, the T16 is ready for year-round operation in demanding outdoor conditions. Power is provided by 4× 18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries (3.635 V); batteries are not included – please purchase them separately according to your preferred power type. For long-term installations (for example, with a solar panel), an external power supply DC 12 V / 1 A (connector 4.4 × 1.65 mm) can be used. The camera is attached to a tree trunk using the included strap, or alternatively to a standard tripod with a 1/4″-20-UNC thread. A USB Type-C connector is used for downloading files directly to a computer.
